Podcast from Gambler's General Store: April 28, 2015
On April 28, the indefatigable Howard Schwartz, an institution in the Las Vegas gambling book business, interviewed me for a podcast at the Gambler's Book Club (800 S. Main Street, Las Vegas). This was his 141'st such podcast, dating back over six years. It was a lot of fun, with Howard asking some great questions. Mostly we discussed my new book Advanced Advantage Play, but a few other interesting topics also came up, including the Phil Ivey edge sorting lawsuit (start at 13:00) and my backrooming for hole-carding Three Card Poker (starts around 31:30). After the podcast, we chatted about (of all things) the current state of comedy, both lamenting the decline of the situation comedy on T.V.
Here is a picture of Howard and me just before the podcast began.
Howard Schwartz began the podcast by saying, "Today, Eliot Jacobson, who has authored one of the best books I have ever seen in my 120 and some odd podcasts over the years." Thanks Howard!
